Kindergarten Lottery Application Timeline
For the 2026–2027 School Year
Kindergarten students are selected through a lottery process. To be eligible to apply:
- Students must be five (5) years old on or before August 31.
- Students must reside within Bethel School District boundaries.
We are now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 Kindergarten program at Elk Plain School of Choice. If your student has an interest in the arts, this is a fantastic opportunity!
Our students participate in a variety of specialized subjects, including:
- Dance
- Theatre
- Art
- Science
- Music
If your child is passionate about the arts and would benefit from this creative learning environment, we encourage you to submit an application.
Kindergarten Lottery Process
Application Period
February 2 – February 13, 2026
(Available HERE or at the Elk Plain School of Choice K–8 office)
Deadline / Lottery Closes
Friday, February 13, 2026 at 2:30 PM
Late applications will not participate in the lottery.
Notification of Status
Letters will be emailed by end of business day, February 27, 2026.
Required Application Materials
Missing items may impact eligibility.
- Signed application
- Valid, usable email address for notification of admittance or waitlist placement
Results will not be provided by phone.
Applications must be received at Elk Plain School of Choice K–8 by
February 13, 2026, no later than 2:30 PM.
Late applications will not participate in the lottery and will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist
